In 2006-2010, he hold two positions as the Head of Gunung Halimun Salak National Park and Co-manajer of JICA’s Gunung Halimun Salak National Park Manajement project.  In the middle 2010, he moved to the Ministry of Forestry headquarter. The first  assignment was Deputy Directorfor  environmental services development, one and half years later became Director in the same institution. Previously, he was National Coordinator for Heart of Borneo program in the WWF Indonesia .

He has been actively involved in various international cooperation in biodiversity conservation, environmental services such as ecotourism development, sustainable energy, sustainable water, climate change issues, and forest governance . He joinbilateral and multilateral cooperation efforts with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID),  the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), the Deutsche GesellschaftfürTechnischeZusammenarbeit (GTZ), and others. He is  Chairman of the oversight committee of Tropical Forest Conservation Act 2 , executing agency in development demontration activities (DA’s) Berau Carbon Forest Model (project in cooperation with The Nature Conservancy), DA’s REDD in Sebangau and Tesso Nillo (Riau) national park (project in cooperation with WWF Indonesia) and DA’s REDD in Berbak National park (project in cooperation with Zoological Society London).
