Emil Elestianto Dardak or Emil Dardak born May 20, 1984 in Jakarta, is a regent of Trenggalek Regency since February 17, 2016. Emil who is paired with Vice Regent Mochamad Nur Arifin won Election of  regional heads in Trenggalek Regency in 2015 with the vote of  292,248 votes or about 76.28 percent. He and Mochamad Nur Arifin  became the youngest couples in the 2015 election. In 2016, he graduated from University Of Oxford, United Kingdom, majoring in Programe Management. In 2004, he has already earned his master degree in International Cooperation Policy at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Japan. In 2007, he completed his Ph.D at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Japan, majoring Asia Pacific Studies. He became the  youngest Doctor of Economic Development award in Japan from  Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University at the age of 22.
