Ery Seda holds a PhD in Development Studies from the Univ. of Wisconsin at Madison, USA and a Masters from the Cornell University, USA. Most of her past and current research is on the Sociology of Development, esp. The Indonesian Government’s Development Strategy on Petroleum and Natural Gas/ LNG, Poverty and The Marginalized Groups of Indonesia, Gender and Politics. She also gives lectures on Sociological Theory and Seminars about the Construction of Sociological Theory.
