Grace Natalie is chairperson and co-founder of Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (Indonesian Solidarity Party). Grace started her career as journalist and television host for 8 years. She worked at SCTV, ANTV and TV One, prominent national televisions in Indonesia. Her main assignment was to report on terrorism, including horizontal conflict in Poso, Central Sulawesi, and counter-terrorism raid in Java and Sumatera. Grace also hosted Apa Kabar Indonesia Malam, a talkshow program focused on the latest controversial political and social issues.
In 2012 she decided to join Saiful Mujani Research and Consulting (SMRC), a political research and consulting company. Grace was the Chief Executive Officer. During presidential election of 2014, SMRC’s quick count was the highest in precision and speed. Inspired by new generation of political leaders with respectable reputation such as Jokowi, Ahok, Tri Risma, Grace co-founded Partai Solidaritas Indonesia in November 2014. Her vision is for Indonesia to experience political revolution. She believed that participatory politics culture, meritocratic leadership, and an accountable and professionally managed political party are mandatory. These principles have been successfully implemented in PSI.
