Dr. Tri Widodo W. Utomo, is a senior researcher in public  administration. He is now the Deputy Chairman of Innovation at  National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA). He is presently in charge of promoting innovation within government institution,  particularly in local area. He created “Innovation Laboratory”, a  model of accelerating public sector innovation consists of five steps,  namely Drum-up, Diagnose, Design, Deliver, and Display (5D Model).  He also advocated “Street-level Innovation” and “Innovation  Roadmap” as instruments of promoting innovation. In the early of  2017, he published book titled “Inovasi Harga Mati” (Innovate or  Die).
