Widy is a social initiative leader and a certified life coach. After obtaining Bachelor degree in International Relations from University of Airlangga, she has conducted social and humanitarian projects in collaboration with variety of organisations, both in non-profit and private, at a local and international level in India, South East Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa and Indian Ocean regions.
During her experiences living in four countries and travelled to 30 countries, Widy developed new challenges and approached to foster the development process in developing nations, through international partnership and collaboration, social entrepreneurship, creative education, active citizenship, and corporate citizenship. The project she worked in Sub-Saharan Africa and Indian Ocean was honored as a CSR best practice in the UN Global Compact International Yearbook 2014.
She is also recipient of several awards including the Deutsche Post DHL Global CEO Global Corporate Responsibility Awards in 2015 for her Youth Employability Project in South Africa and Youth Business Incubator Project in Uganda. Recenty, she was selected to represent Indonesia in HANDs! Asia Project, a creative education for humanity programme under Japan Foundation.
