Opiek holds a Doctorate from the University of Paris. She has been a researcher and advisor to the CEO of the Loving The  Nation’s Children Foundation (YCAB) before joining the University of Indonesia. She believes that to solve the problems of Indonesia, many strong and robust young leaders are needed and wants to be one of them.
