Alfred Nakatsuma has worked for 25 years in international development, focusing on natural resources management, economic growth, conflict mitigation, disaster management and youth employment. He has held long-term positions in Peru, Guatemala, Bolivia, Indonesia, Japan and the Philippines, has worked extensively in Africa. He has a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Stanford University, and Master’s degrees in urban and regional planning and economics from the University of Southern California. He currently is a Director USAID in Washington , DC
